Finding them again can be a little trickier, so in the steps below, I'm going to show you how to see liked reels on Instagram.

Once you go down that rabbit hole, it can be a while before you are able to come back up for air! As you flick through all this bite – sized entertainment then you'll no doubt want to look back on a few of your favourites. I am going to walk you through how to re – watch the reels you loved.
Liking Reels on Instagram
When you like content on Instagram, it's usually to show appreciation for it. However, you might not have realised that it's also a handy way of saving your favourites for later. To like a reel, you simply double tap the screen or hit the heart icon on the right.
How to See Reels You've Liked
On Mobile
- Open up the Instagram app.
- Go to your profile by tapping the icon on the bottom right of the screen.
- Tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) on the top right.
- Tap 'Your activity' from the options that appear.
- Choose 'Interactions' from the following list.
- Tap the 'Likes' option.
On Laptop
- Go to Instagram
- Tap the hamburger menu that says more in the bottom left.
- Select 'Your activity'.
- 'Interactions' with your liked posts should be the first thing that shows up here.
This section does not give you the option to see liked reels and posts separately. Reels will have the small video icon in the top right, which will make them easily identifiable though.
Saving Reels on Instagram
Perhaps, an even easier option for revisiting the reels that really caught your eye is by saving them. You can quickly save a reel by tapping the 3 vertical dots in the bottom right and choosing 'Save' from the resulting menu.
This is probably the better option as it allows you to view posts and reels separately. You can also create albums or collections, so you're able to easily organise different types of content.
How to See Your Saved Reels
Mobile
- Go into the Instagram app.
- Go to your profile by tapping the icon in the bottom right corner.
- Hit the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) on the top right.
- Choose 'Saved' from the pop-up menu.
- Here you will have the option of selecting 'All posts' or a previously created album.
- In all posts, you can choose between posts and reels by tapping their respective icons.
To create an album in the saved section, tap the plus sign in the top right corner of the 'All posts' page.
Laptop
- Go to Instagram
- Tap the hamburger menu that says more in the bottom left.
- Select 'Saved'.
- Here you will have the option of selecting 'All posts' or a previously created album.
- You can't choose between posts and reels on a laptop.
To create an album in the saved section, tap the plus sign in the top right corner of the 'All posts' page.
