Instagram was launched, and is still used by more than 300 million people around the world, as a cell phone application. That way, users can always be connected, and share what they want when they want. However, many people have asked for it to be usable on PC, as not everybody has a smartphone or doesn’t feel like using their cell phones every time they want to upload any new pic. What are their options?

Although it is still impossible to use the very Instagram app on your personal computer, many companies have launched services to emulate using it from a cell phone, thus allowing you to connect from your PC. You just have to log in using your account name and password. Then, you get connected through an external server, which leads us to our first problem. Once Instagram detects various accounts simultaneously connected from the same IP address, it will surely act.

Instagram is including new features Do you know any alternative to using Instagram via cell phone?

Many apps have emerged to try and solve this problem, but no one seems to bear the ultimate solution. Some of them, like wisel.it, provide different services, such as picture edition, reposting, sharing or multi-log in (that is, logging in once and being able to manage various accounts).

There are other options, such as Gramblr or Chronogram, but they are not the ideal media. There will always exist the risk of not knowing who has access to your account name and your password.

What about you? Do you know any options different from these that let you post pics from your PC? It will surely be a great day when Instagram realizes that not everybody has access to a smartphone.

If you know any service that lets you do this, share it with your friends and family. They will sure appreciate it. For the moment, it’s the only solution.
